Terms of Service
Last updated: March 8, 2026
1. Project Scope
Deliverables: A custom-built website (up to 20 pages) including Home, About/Beliefs, Sermons, Events, and Giving.
Features: Integration of a third-party giving platform of your choice (e.g., Tithe.ly), a functional sermon archive, and a mobile-responsive design. The client must purchase any giving platforms directly.
Exclusions: This price does not include specific features such as a prayer dashboard or other custom-requested functionality. A separate quote is required for specific features. However, you may submit a feature request at any time to receive a quote.
2. Payment Terms
Deposit: A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to begin work.
Final Payment: The remaining $400 is due upon project completion or 30 days after the start date, whichever comes first.
Mandatory Service Integration: To ensure ongoing security, high-performance hosting on Vercel, and the technical integrity of the custom build, all projects require enrollment in the $50/month Maintenance & Hosting Plan as a condition of service.
Refund Eligibility: The remaining total project fee is only eligible for a refund under the following “Service Failure” conditions:
- Non-Performance: If Kingdom Sites fails to deliver a functional “Beta” version of the site within the agreed-upon timeline (excluding delays caused by the client).
- Technical Security Breach: If a critical security vulnerability occurs due to a failure in the initial build configuration before the final hand-off.
- Abandonment: If the developer ceases communication or stops work on the project for more than 14 consecutive business days without prior notice.
Recurring Fee: A $50 monthly fee covers hosting, security, and quick updates such as adding a new update page or editing the contents of a previously built page (e.g., text changes, image swaps, or single event postings).
3. The “Content Deadline” Clause
The client must provide all text, church info, and photos within 14 days of signing.
If content is not provided within this window, the project is moved to “Maintenance Mode” and the final payment is still due to hold your spot on the server.
4. Revision Policy
The project price includes two rounds of revisions based on the initial design.
Extra Work: Any changes requested after the two rounds or after the site goes live will result in a $50 fee per update.
Post-Launch Stability Period: Upon the official launch of the website, a 30-day stability period will commence. During this time, Kingdom Sites will focus exclusively on monitoring site performance, security, and ensuring all “Launch Version” features are functioning as intended. This does not include weekly updates such as church service time changes.
Maintenance Cycle Commencement: Routine updates included in the $50/month Maintenance Plan will begin exactly 30 days after the launch date. This ensures the initial codebase remains stable before new content or structural changes are introduced.
Included Maintenance: The monthly service fee covers routine security monitoring, hosting management, and up to one (1) hour of minor content updates (e.g., text changes, image swaps, or single event postings).
Out-of-Scope Requests: Requests that exceed the standard maintenance definition — including but not limited to new feature development, structural redesigns, or updates requiring more than one hour of labor — are classified as “Major Updates.”
Right of Refusal & Custom Quotes: Kingdom Sites reserves the right to evaluate all update requests. If a request is deemed a Major Update, the developer will provide a separate project quote for the church’s approval before any work begins.
5. Ownership & Access
Ownership: The church owns the website content and domain once the final payment has been made.
Admin Rights: Kingdom Sites retains administrative access to the Vercel/Supabase environment to perform the maintenance covered under the $50/month plan.
